IST EVENT 2004 :: Exhibition
IST 2004 Exhibition "People and Economy"
The Exhibition has the intention to show concrete
results of research in and beyond Europe made possible by the IST Programme.
It will follow the main theme of the
event: “People and Economy”. It will show a number of examples on how
organizations can work together in a knowledge economy, how people will
live, communicate and entertain, how we can care for people with certain
needs for integration and protection and how in the future unpleasant or
impossible work can be done by intelligent machines.
The IST 2004 exhibition will be dominated by around 130 stands displaying the
results of research projects selected from the European Research Programmes and the Exhibition
Call for
Ideas. It will be complemented by the European IST Prize Village, which will
include the 20 EISTP winners of 2004, and - to celebrate the tenth
anniversary of the Prize - several previous winners. The exhibits are
grouped together in Zones focusing on 4 specific sections.
Discover the exhibition area in more detail on the Theme Zones page. A plan of the exhibition area is also available.
